FIU Latvia managers strengthen their knowledge and skills in effective and ethical management in an intensive Harvard Kennedey School course

Course focused on the moral leadership skills needed to instill change that has lasting impact on community. Under the guidance of professional instructors, trainees learned how to manage and lead complexity, how opposing viewpoints can work together to achieve positive change, what moral compromises are and why they are so important, what is the difference between a manager and a leader, and what positive contribution can failures have. FIU managers also delved into the behavioral science of emotions and decision-making, promoting values ​​and social justice in the organization.

The participants state that the course was interesting and interactive. An important role was also played by working in groups, where it was possible to get to know and actively work together with people from different countries, to listen to opinions, to discuss and to jointly search for solutions in the performance of various tasks.

The Harvard Kennedy School is one of the world leaders in the education of public policy and public management. The Leadership and Ethics Curriculum helps learners from around the world gain the knowledge and skills to lead effectively.
