Visitor appointments


The Financial Intelligence Unit of Latvia receives visitors with questions that are partially or fully within the competence of the Financial Intelligence Unit of Latvia on the first Thursday of every month, from 10.00 am until 11.00 am. 


If a private person wishes to appoint a visit, then they must first submit a reasoned application* by sending it via e-mail at pasts@fid.gov.lv, or via post, to the address: Vaļņu street 28, Riga, LV-1050, Latvia, indicating the scope of matters that the person intends to discuss. The applicant will be informed of the time of their visit.


At the same time, the Financial Intelligence Unit of Latvia would like to inform you that in accordance with Sections 51 and 53 of the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism and Proliferation Financing, no appointments will be accepted regarding questions pertaining to the Financial Intelligence Unit’s of Latvia orders to freeze assets, or to matters that are not within the competence of the Financial Intelligence Unit of Latvia.
